Azurion 7 represents a new generation of premium-class expert angiography systems available in ceiling-mounted or floor-mounted, single-plane or biplane versions. They are optimized for the most advanced procedures in interventional cardiology, neuroangiography, and general angiography, providing advanced solutions for vascular, non-vascular, embolization, and oncological interventional procedures.

A distinguishing feature of the Azurion 7 family is support for Clarity IQ technology, which reduces radiation exposure by an average of 73% without compromising image quality during endovascular interventions across a broad range of clinical procedures.

Azurion 7 M20 in the Azurion 7 C20 configuration (ceiling-mounted version) or Azurion 7 F20 configuration (floor-mounted version) is a universal multipurpose interventional X-ray system for neuroangiography, cardiac angiography, and vascular, non-vascular, embolization, and oncological interventional procedures.

The 20-inch flat-panel detector with a maximum 30 × 38 cm field of view provides optimal coverage of any anatomical area during imaging, including peripheral vessels of the lower extremities, the aortic arch, coronary vessels, and cerebral vessels.

Azurion 7 B20 is a biplane angiography system using two flat-panel detectors in B20/12 combinations—a 20-inch detector (30 × 38 cm) and a 12-inch detector (21 × 21 cm)—or B20/15 combinations—a 20-inch detector (30 × 38 cm) and a 15-inch detector (29 × 26 cm). It is intended for interventional procedures that are especially sensitive to contrast volume and radiation dose and provides a comprehensive solution for complex invasive neurological examinations as well as complex invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.

The B20/15 detector combination is best suited to neuroradiology examinations, providing full frontal coverage with the 30 × 38 cm detector and improved image quality at a reduced dose in the lateral projection with the 29 × 26 cm detector. The 30 × 38 cm and 29 × 26 cm detector dimensions allow the lateral C-arm detector to be positioned over the patient’s shoulder as close to the head as possible, helping improve image quality and reduce radiation dose.

The B20/12 detector combination is better suited to mixed cardiovascular examinations and interventions.

Azurion 7 C20 systems can use the FlexVision XL imaging system based on a ceiling-suspended 58-inch high-resolution medical-grade color LCD monitor in the interventional suite. Multiple images can be displayed simultaneously, including both monochrome X-ray and color images, in different layouts selected according to the specific procedure being performed.

When using the FlexVision XL monitor, image size can always be adjusted and images arranged in the required order. The SuperZoom function allows enlarged clinical images to be viewed in high detail. FlexVision XL is fully integrated with the Azurion system and can be easily controlled from the patient table using the TSM touch-screen module. All zooming and switching operations are performed almost instantly.

The new MRC 200+ X-ray tube offers outstanding heat storage capacity and cooling rate, enabling long examinations under high tube loads, extending tube service life, and improving reliability. Philips SpectraBeam filtration is one of the most advanced radiation filtration systems and significantly reduces radiation exposure to patients and medical staff during interventional procedures.

Grid-controlled pulsed fluoroscopy produces sharper images.

A wide range of interventional software supports the installation of advanced Philips solutions such as Echo Navigator, Dynamic Coronary Roadmap, Stent Boost Live, Stent Boost Subtract, Cardiac Swing, Vascular Stent Boost, 3D-RA, Dynamic 3D-Roadmap, MR/CT Roadmap, Vessel Navigator, Aneurysm Flow, XperCT Dual, Xper Guide, Xper Guide Ablation, Embo Guide, Heart Navigator, Smart Perfusion, Vaso CT, EP Navigator, Smart Mask, FD Dual Fluoro, Subtracted Bolus Chase, and others.
