Premium SNR with dStream technology

dStream digitizes the signal in the coil, eliminating the noise effects associated with analog signal paths and capturing the MR signal where it is cleanest. A fiber-optic connection from the coil to the image reconstructor provides uninterrupted, lossless data transmission. This results in an SNR increase of up to 40%.

Premium fat suppression with mDIXON XD technology

Inconsistent fat suppression can lead to inconclusive examination results, uncertainty, repeat scanning, and repeated use of resources. Philips therefore developed mDIXON XD, an innovation that provides fat suppression that is both robust and fast. Exclusive Philips mDIXON XD technology delivers improved fat suppression compared with conventional spectral fat-suppression methods such as SPIR.

In addition, mDIXON TSE fat suppression is 30% faster and 30% sharper, with less blurring, than any other DIXON TSE technique available in the industry.
