Digital broadband MRI with dStream technology
In this purpose-built digital broadband MR platform, dStream allows more information to be acquired in the same amount of time, delivering high image quality with digital clarity and speed. Premium SNR technology expands your imaging capabilities.
What makes dStream different
Ingenia 3.0T radiofrequency technology digitizes the MR signal at the patient, eliminating the noise effects associated with analog signal paths and capturing the MR signal where it is cleanest. A fiber-optic connection from the coil to the image reconstructor provides uninterrupted, lossless data transmission. This results in an SNR increase of up to 40%, which can be combined with dS-SENSE parallel imaging for exceptional image quality and speed.
dStream technology includes:
- Fully digital RF acquisition technology that digitizes the MR signal directly in the RF coil at the patient, providing up to 40% higher SNR.
- A simplified workflow that improves versatility and throughput through better coil and patient management.
- A future-ready solution that allows clinical capabilities to be expanded on a plug-and-play basis without major hardware upgrades.
Consistent contrast, speed, and reproducibility
Exclusive Philips MultiTransmit 4D reduces dielectric shading to provide excellent image uniformity, contrast, and consistency, as well as fast imaging. MultiTransmit uses parallel RF transmission with multiple radiofrequency sources to adapt RF signals to each patient.
Ingenia 3.0T with Premium IQ allows more information to be acquired more consistently in the same amount of time, delivering motion-compensated imaging with digital clarity and speed.

Advanced MRI
Strengthen your referral base by expanding diagnostic capabilities. Advanced diagnostic solutions extend MRI to new clinical indications in neurology, oncology, and cardiology.
Premium speed with dS SENSE technology
When dStream coils are combined with SENSE to create dS SENSE, the results are impressive. Because dS SENSE can make examinations faster, images can be acquired with broader coverage, higher spatial resolution, and improved temporal resolution.
MultiTransmit 4D technology
Ingenia 3.0T takes 3.0 T performance to the next level with MultiTransmit 4D parallel radiofrequency transmission technology.
Premium motion compensation with MultiVane XD
MultiVane provides high-resolution diagnostic images even when there is substantial patient motion. MultiVane can be used for brain and liver examinations.
High-performance wide-bore imaging space with advanced table features
The 70 cm bore with advanced table features is designed around the patient. It provides the largest homogeneous field of view in a commercially available 70 cm system, making it well suited to two-station body imaging, spine imaging, and large abdominal examinations.

Ingenia Ambition 1.5Т
The new, revolutionary Ingenia Ambition MRI system, featuring the fully sealed BlueSeal magnet, enables more productive helium-free MRI operations.

Features:
- Micro-cooling technology. Fully sealed.
- No venting duct. 900 kg lighter*.
- Adaptive intelligence. EasySwitch functionality.
- 55 cm scanning field of view. Continuous uninterrupted operation.
Move your department toward a more productive helium-free MRI practice*
Built around the unique, fully sealed BlueSeal magnet, Ingenia Ambition simplifies the MRI system, reduces prolonged and costly disruptions to MRI services, and enables your department to move toward a productive helium-free imaging practice.
This revolutionary magnet, developed through a decade of innovation, operates with only seven liters of liquid helium and is fully sealed, allowing you to avoid the potential complications associated with helium in daily practice.
With the BlueSeal magnet, Philips aims to help MRI facilities overcome the potential helium-related problems inherent in conventionally designed magnets and eliminate radiology departments’ dependence on limited helium supplies. In addition, the system can perform continuous high-precision scanning for hours, while providing a 55 cm primary scanning field of view in a wide-bore 1.5 T system.
Forget about helium
Unlike conventional magnet technology, which requires approximately 1,500 liters of liquid helium for cooling during operation, Philips BlueSeal uses a new, highly efficient micro-cooling technology that requires only a very small amount of liquid helium—less than 0.5% of the conventional volume*.
This fraction of the usual quantity of liquid helium is placed inside the magnet during manufacturing. The magnet is then fully sealed, keeping the valuable gas inside throughout its service life. The sealed design prevents helium loss, whether sudden in the event of a leak or gradual over time. This reduces prolonged interruptions to MRI services that may otherwise be caused by helium-related problems.
It also means that the magnet does not require refilling with liquid helium during its service life.
- Compared with the Ingenia 1.5T ZBO magnet using zero-boil-off helium technology.
** Even in the rare event of magnet depressurization, the small amount of evaporating helium will not significantly affect the oxygen level in the examination room.
Ensuring uninterrupted MRI examinations
With conventional MRI systems, regardless of how carefully the scanner is used, a metal object becoming lodged in the magnet and requiring an intentional quench, or an unexpected loss of the magnetic field, can suspend MRI examinations at a hospital for several weeks and result in substantial lost revenue.
The BlueSeal magnet takes the next step toward uninterrupted and more productive daily MRI operations. With unique digital controls and 24/7 e-Alerts connectivity, Philips BlueSeal is the first magnet managed by adaptive intelligence and supports the unique EasySwitch service functionality.
EasySwitch solutions are designed to minimize unexpected downtime in the event of operational problems. For example, the BlueSeal magnetic field can be easily switched off if an object becomes trapped in the bore. Once the issue has been resolved, hospital or Philips personnel can initiate an automated ramp-up and restore the magnetic field, minimizing operational downtime.
The magnet is also equipped with both water-cooled and air-cooled compressors. The air-cooled compressor serves as a backup when chilled-water supply is unavailable. The BlueSeal magnet’s adaptive intelligence switches to the air-cooled compressor and then switches back when chilled-water supply is restored.

In this purpose-built digital broadband MR platform, dStream allows more information to be acquired in the same amount of time, delivering high image quality with digital clarity and speed.
Improve clinical performance
Digital clarity and speed
Despite the many changes in the imaging business, people remain the central focus. Although the industry refers to certain examinations as routine imaging, even the most common MRI examination is an opportunity to provide exceptional care to your patients.
Ingenia 1.5T helps maximize diagnostic information within the available time window, providing strong clinical performance for procedures such as brain, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging.
Digital broadband dStream technology provides high SNR, while industry-leading dS SENSE acceleration and the Premium IQ Pack deliver fast, reliable imaging with excellent motion correction and fat suppression across nearly all procedures.
Premium IQ
Reach a new level of clinical performance by addressing common MRI challenges such as speed, fat suppression, and motion control.
Premium SNR with dStream technology
dStream digitizes the signal in the coil, eliminating the noise effects associated with analog signal paths and capturing the MR signal where it is cleanest. A fiber-optic connection from the coil to the image reconstructor provides uninterrupted, lossless data transmission. This results in an SNR increase of up to 40%.
Premium fat suppression with mDIXON XD technology
Inconsistent fat suppression can lead to inconclusive examination results, uncertainty, repeat scanning, and repeated use of resources. Philips therefore developed mDIXON XD, an innovation that provides fat suppression that is both robust and fast. Exclusive Philips mDIXON XD technology delivers improved fat suppression compared with conventional spectral fat-suppression methods such as SPIR.
In addition, mDIXON TSE fat suppression is 30% faster and 30% sharper, with less blurring, than any other DIXON TSE technique available in the industry.
Premium motion compensation with MultiVane XD
Sometimes creating meaningful innovation means extending its range of applications. MultiVane, which substantially reduces motion sensitivity, was originally developed for brain imaging. It now also reduces motion artifacts in liver and knee examinations, providing an intelligent solution to the challenging problem of in-plane motion.
