“Amilox Plus” is a concentrated disinfectant with detergent, wetting, deodorizing and emulsifying properties. It is intended for disinfection, pre-sterilization cleaning and sterilization of medical devices, surfaces, equipment, tools and other epidemiologically significant objects.

Composition of the product, content of active and auxiliary substances, wt.%: alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride and didecyldimethylammonium chloride – 28.0±3.0% (total); N,N-bis(3-aminopropyl)dodecylamine – 8.0±0.8%; Tetranyl U – 4.0±0.5% (active substances); functional and technological components (auxiliary substances).
Form of release and physicochemical properties of the product. “Amilox Plus” is a transparent green liquid with a slight characteristic odor. The product mixes well with water. The pH of the product is 11.0±1.5. Aqueous solutions of the product are transparent and almost odorless.
Solutions of the product have detergent, wetting, deodorizing and emulsifying properties, which makes it possible to combine disinfection and cleaning processes.
Solutions of the product do not exhibit corrosive activity toward stainless steel, aluminum alloys and other metals, nickel-plated, chrome-plated and other protective coatings.
Solutions of the product do not damage treated objects made of various materials (including corrosion-resistant and non-corrosion-resistant metals, wood, glass, tile, porcelain, faience, rubber, caoutchouc, artificial leather, polymeric materials, surfaces of medical devices and equipment with paint, galvanic and polymer coatings); do not discolor fabrics or reduce their strength; do not fix blood and other organic contaminants. They remove mechanical, protein and fat contamination, blood residues and medicinal product residues from external surfaces, internal channels and cavities of medical devices, and homogenize sputum and other secretions. Working solutions of the product rinse off well and do not leave deposits or stains on the surfaces of treated objects.
The product is incompatible with soaps and anionic surfactants.
The product retains its properties after freezing to -25ºC and subsequent thawing.
The product and its solutions are environmentally safe; they are not classified as combustible, fire-hazardous or explosive.
Intended use of the product. “Amilox Plus” is intended for:
– preventive and focal (current, final) disinfection at facilities of all categories, including:
– – medical and treatment-and-prevention institutions (including operating units, intensive care and resuscitation departments, surgical, somatic, therapeutic, obstetric, neonatal, gynecological, maternity, pediatric, physiotherapy, dental, dermatovenerological, infectious disease, pathological anatomy and other departments; outpatient clinics, polyclinics, dispensaries, feldsher-midwife stations, organ transplantation centers, medical units, emergency medical stations, donor centers and blood transfusion departments, sanatoriums, preventive treatment facilities, clinical, biochemical, bacteriological, virological and other laboratories, catering units, etc.);
– – sanitary inspection rooms, penitentiary institutions and military units;
– – pharmacy institutions (pharmaceutical warehouses, pharmacies, pharmacy stores, etc.);
– – preschool institutions, educational and training institutions of various accreditation levels;
– – enterprises of the perfumery and cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, microbiological, food and processing industries;

– high-level disinfection of rigid and flexible endoscopes and instruments for them and anesthesia and respiratory equipment;
– sterilization of medical devices (including rigid and flexible endoscopes and anesthesia and respiratory equipment);
– disinfection of air-conditioning systems and room ventilation in treatment-and-prevention and children’s institutions; residential and office premises; household and municipal service enterprises, etc.:
– – surfaces of air conditioners and structural elements of indoor air-conditioning systems;
– – air-cleaning and cooling chambers of air conditioners;
– – surfaces of fans in room ventilation systems;

Spectrum of antimicrobial activity. The product has bactericidal activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Legionella), virucidal activity against all known human pathogenic viruses (including pathogens of enteral and parenteral hepatitis, including hepatitis A, B and C, HIV infection, poliomyelitis, adenoviruses, enteroviruses, rotaviruses, SARS viruses, influenza, herpes, avian influenza A/H5N1, human influenza A/H1N1/Moscow/2009, etc.), fungicidal activity (including pathogens of candidiasis, dermatophytosis and molds, including Aspergillus niger and Mucor spp.), activity against pathogens of anaerobic infections and particularly dangerous infections (plague, tularemia, cholera, anthrax); and sporicidal activity.
Toxicity and safety of the product. According to acute toxicity parameters under GOST 12.1.007-76, “Amilox Plus”, when administered into the stomach, belongs to hazard class 3 (moderately hazardous substances); when applied to the skin and inhaled at saturating concentrations, to hazard class 4 (low-hazard substances); and when administered parenterally, to hazard class 4 (low toxicity). In aerosol form, it causes irritation of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. The product has a moderate local irritating effect on the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes.
The product has no cumulative or sensitizing effect and does not exhibit mutagenic, embryotoxic, teratogenic, carcinogenic or gonadotropic properties.
Working solutions of the product do not cause skin irritation or sensitization.
When working solutions of the product with a concentration above 2% are applied by spraying, irritation of the mucous membranes of the eyes and upper respiratory tract may occur.
